AULI is known for its fascinating ski resorts and stunning natural vistas. Beside these snow clad miracles, the wide street through the slopes offers marvellous captivating views of gorgeous apple orchards and fine deodar trees, which makes the day splendid, step a precious experience finite by the snowy peaks of the mighty Himalayas, the mountainous terrain offers the entrancing sceneries of oak adorned slopes and evergreen forests. 1.AULI ROPEWAY –
AULI cable car also called locally as Gondola and connects AULI with JOSHIMATH. Located at 3010mtrs above sea-level, AULI is best skiing and paragliding destination in India, attracts a large number of tourist. AULI Ropeway is the major attraction in AULI offering magnificent and majestic Himalayan views. A highest and longest ropeway in Asia after GULMARG, AULI cable car covers a distance of 4kms.
2.AULI ARTIFICIAL LAKE –
The government to provide artificial snow on the ski slopes during scanty rainfall created this lake. AULI artificial lake is a pristine lake perched at an astounding elevation. It is one of the world's highest man-made lakes.
AULI can be visited any time of the year. If you are going specifically for skiing, then January-March is the time to go - that's when there are skiing festivals and championships all across the town. However, AULI is covered in the artificial snow all throughout the year and hence skiing can be enjoyed at any time of the year. September witnesses the Mata MRUTI KA MELA, which is celebrated in BADRINATH.

1.GURSO BUGYAL -
3 km trek from AULI will lead you to the picturesque GURSO BUGYAL. Views of the imposing Himalayas like Nanda Devi, TRISHUL and DRON PARVAT are invigorating from GURSO BUGYAL. GURSO BUGYAL transforms to a green pastureland during spring season and wears sheets of snow during the winters. Perched at an elevation of 3,056mts above sea level GURSO BUGYAL has mixed forest of oak and conifer. GURSO BUGYAL is only 1.5 km from the last tower of Gondola ropeway.
It is small lake holding crystal clear water. CHATTRAKUND is situated just 1km ahead of GURSO BUGYAL. Located amidst jungle this mysterious lake showers us with fairy tale surroundings.
It is a popular destination with trekkers situated 12kms from GURSO BUGYAL at an elevation of 3,380mts above sea level. The best time to visit KWANI BUGYAL is June and September.
4.CHENAB LAKE -
One must pass through the last village of JOSHIMATH, Dang Village to reach Chenab Lake. The place is still unknown with most number of tourists and it is quite inaccessible by motor-able roads. Therefore, Chenab Lake does not see much of tourists, but the virginity of this place makes it an enchanting spot.
JOSHIMATH is well attached with AULI by highest cable car of Asia. JOSHIMATH is situated at a height of 1,890mts above sea level.
