KALINDIKHAL trekking excursion begins from GANGOTRI banked alongside the Ganga waters. After seeking the GANGOTRI goddess’s blessing start off on your travelling to GAUMUKH, the birth point of the divine Ganges River.
The trek is full of charge and risky venture and involves some primal knowledge of mountaineering. The trek enters from GANGOTRI across the KALINDI KHAL.
This trek will begin from GANGOTRI and takes you to NANDANVAN, which is the cornerstone of the Bhagirathi group of peaks. You can also get a majestic view of the SHIVLING summit from here. Further, the trek will move into VASUKITAL at an elevation of 4900 M. After that, you will cross the KALINDIKHAL pass (5968 M), one of the challenging ventures you ever had. The train then will go down to ARWATAL and MANA, the last village on the Chinese border. The trek concludes at BADRINATH with a visit to the holy temple.

Pass trek, which is one of the toughest treks in the Indian Himalayan belt, located in the GARHWAL Himalaya, requires some serious acclimatization and prior high altitude trekking experience is recommended. Most of the trail goes through a thick sheet of snow and cuts through several glaciated and narrow tracks. The trek involves the use of ice axe, crampons and fixed rope and thus it is one of the adventurous journeys in the GARHWAL Himalayan region.
