Situated in the mesmerizing KUMAON Himalayas, PINDARI Glacier is a most accessible of all glacier treks and attracts amateur as well as experienced trekkers. PINDARI Glacier has always attracted mountaineers and trekkers as it offers diverse glory of nature and is one of the easiest accessible Himalayan glaciers. PINDARI Glacier lies on the edge of Nanda Devi (7,816), which is the highest peak of India. PINDARI is an extensive and bluff glacier measuring 3.2km in length and 1.5km in breadth. Trek between dense forests, alongside streams ending at two mountainous glaciers of UTTARAKHAND. Zero Point of PINDARI Glacier is situated at an altitude of 3,660mts above sea-level, 5km ahead of PHURKIA. Explore the towns of BAGESHWAR and ALMORA. By Air: Nearest airport is PANTNAGAR Airport, around 205 km from BAGESHWAR.

By Rail: KATHGODAM railway station, 171 km from BAGESHWAR, is the nearest railway station.

By Road: BAMSERA is 25.8Km from BAGESHWAR and accessed through ALMORA-BAGESHWAR-MUNSIYARI road. From BAMSERA, tourists reach SAUNG or Song village, which is the starting point for the trek.
